    uh... I think the talk box was around long before Peter Frampton. Wikipedia says someone in 1939 used a microphone to modulate electric steel guitar sound, and another similar device called a Sonovox was made th esame year (1939). Peter Frampton was born in 1950.

    song "Do You Feel Like We Do", which I'm quite familiar with,
    having listened to it while in high school.

    He most certainly did *NOT* invent it, and wasn't even one of the
    first to use it. I admittedly had to look this up, which you can

    No we didn’t but we did use DI boxes though. Do you know what that is?

    Maybe TM used a talk box with the Trident series 65 audio console. He does know a lot about the Trident series 65 audio console.
