• Trump's Remarks

From Dumas Walker@VERT to All on Sat Oct 8 18:20:00 2016
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump told two
newspapers Saturday that he has no intention of quitting[1] the presidential race despite a growing chorus of Republicans urging him to step aside after a 2005 video surfaced with Trump using vulgar and sexually aggressive terms about women.

If he were to quit, what would happen then? Would there just be no
Republican nominee? Could they back another existing candidate, allowing
them access to the debates, etc.?

Sad thing is that if Bill had made such remarks I don't think anyone would
have cared, even when he was President.

a lot of the people in the republican party are calling for him to withdrawl, and his running mate to take up the lead.

that's not such a bad idea but this guy would have a shit ton of catching up to do.

I'm not actually sure if he can. He's on the ballot in all the states, and some states have already cast preliminary votes, as well as absentee ballots.

I'm not even convinved Trump ever wanted the job. I can see how it might had just started out as publicity stunt that turned into an "Oh shit!" for him after he actually got nominated.

i dont even know why he'd want the job. but maybe he was honestly fed up. he seems to speak his mind so that's probably the reason.

I might take it a step further than that. Aside from the audio tape leak,
just about every other time he seems to close the gap he himself does
something pretty stupid to throw things back in Hillary's favor.

I think he has been doing that on purpose and have thought so for a while now.

That very well seems to be. Not much of a fan of either one of them so watched to debate with neutral eyes and Trump, to me, seemed to lose self-control. Looks like those psychiatrists that Hillary hired to profile Trump and advise her what buttond to push paid off. Pretty easy, Trump being a narcissist, challeng his ego.

Exactly! He would probably shit himself for a year if he got elected. Sometimes I think the Dems set the whole thing up just to make sure Clinton got the job. At the end of the day does it really matter? Presidents are just for "show" anyway. They are just Puppets that get to say they lived in the White House. That's just my opinion.....I could be wrong. ;-)

Well she couldn't get elected, or even nominated, in the previous attempt.
In other words, you could be onto something... the Clintons and Trump used to be friendly, after all.

Makes perfect sense... That's how he knows the election is rigged.

I don't like the memory I have of her from the early 90's. Folks who say she is all calm and collected must not remember that time well or they think that leopards change their spots. From the 92 election until about 2 years into
her husband's presidency, you could not hardly turn on the TV news without seeing some clip of her going ape-crap over something... her and that
    Carville guy.

You would see a clip of Bill saying one thing, and then another of Hillary contradicting it (and likely shouting someone down in the process). Their universal health care campaign is a good example... Bill only wanted to
burden large companies with it, then you'd see Hillary on TV claiming that "every company" was going to have "to pay."

She proved back then that she can yell and bully like the best of them.
IMHO, when the Republicans swept power back in Congress in 94 is when they finally made her shut up. If she'd kept that up, her husband would have been
a one-term wonder and there is no way she'd be running for President now.

I am positive they (the Democrats) forced her to shut up back then.
