Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of several US cities[1] Wednesday evening chanting anti-Trump slogans.

In New York and Chicago, demonstrators targeted Trump buildings. In Austin, Texas, protesters blocked a highway. Students walked out of class in high schools and colleges across the country the day after Donald Trump was declared winner of the presidential election.

"Not my president, not today," was a chant heard at protests from Boston to Los Angeles.
