  • Trump vis a vis Nixon?

    Just a question I've been debating with myself. I don't feel qualified to make this call because I was not involved in the political news scene in the Nixon days.

    It seems to me that if things continue the way they are, Trump will get to the point that his resignation will be good for the country.

    I submit as evidence:
    1) The administration is having an awful time getting cabinet members and associated staffers in their position and keeping them there.

    2) Trumps demeanor in handling the press over the last few days has drastically changed. He is quiet, calm, even appearing sedated at times.

    3) He continues, albeit more quietly, to point accusatory fingers at everyone.
    I always operated under the assumption that if everyone is wrong except you... well. You are either an innovator or you are just wrong. I'm more apt to believe the latter because of 1) and 2) above.

    Additionally, what I find interesting is that the "secret" investigation potentially could take down people very close to him... Pense. Paul Ryan appointed as POTUS? Could this be a possibility?

    Thanks, I await your comments. I think this could be a real possibility.

    he's already done a lot of good, so i hope not.

    they are facing a huge amount of scrutiny from the sore losers and the
    media. not many people want to go through that hell.

    i dont think he's sedated. i think he's sick of fighting the press. they are up his ass and entering the lower intestine.


    listen: the press is evil. they are horrible. the media has got out of control. they are a tool used by the people and companies that control this world.
    the media doesnt know how to handle trump. he throws them out if they misbehave. nobody else has done that.

    the media twists everything and hides and downplays things that was should know about.


    if i was trump i would resign. it's not worth it. nobody should want to be the united states president. that's a job that takes a decade off your life. they are up early and late to bed. they are expected to live in a house that is not a home. there are locks on the refrigerators. you just cant go in there and get a snack. it's all locked up. it's not a good environment.
