    Shortly before 7 a.m. on the first Tuesday in April, witnesses say government jets bombed a town in northern Syria. The strikes released a poisonous gas that killed 92 people.

    Video of the aftermath, obtained by CNN, reveals the unsanitized view of what happened that day.

    It's difficult to watch children choking on what were likely their last breaths, but it's important to understand the horror of a war crime.

    The grief of those who survived cannot be erased. Perhaps the least we can do is to pay attention.ÿ
