The US has detected a ballistic missile launch out of North Korea[1], the Pentagon said.

Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said the missile possibly flew for approximately 45 minutes.

ÿThis is North Korea's 12th missile test this year[2]. US officials are still assessing the launch and say they will have more information soon.
