Do you mean like AM and FM, or do you mean like Old Time Radio shows?

I still listen to "Suspense" but that's it. There's a podcast that posts an episode every week and I like to listen to them while I'm out walking or whatever.

That's what put me off commercial radio years ago - wanker DJs crapping on about nothing. :)

I love suspense, that was a great show.
One of my favourite was The Weird Circle.
Just I was preparing a big share folder with tons of OTR and was wondering if there is still interest in that.

I should have been more specific :-) old time radio show

There is also a radio show that is recorded in Lexington at one of their historic theatres. It bills itself as an "old time" radio show. It is broadcast on local (or syndicated?) radio and also, with video, on
our statewide PBS network, KET. It is a music show, and I got to attend a recording of one of the episodes a few years back. It was pretty neat.

"The Shadow" was my regular. Never thought about looking for recordings of it on Youtube. It would come on right after Dr. Demento. God, those were good programs. AFRTS would carry them when I was stationed in Germany 88-92. They ended most of my days activities.

down at a listening booth, put on the headphones, and gave it a listen. He
was just getting to the "reveal" of a particularly spooky story when I suddenly got a tap on my shoulder that nearly made my heart stop!
It was the librarian. My class had left me sitting there.
Yes definitely! If you are offering!

Still playing with the organisation of the folders but you can have a
look if your familiar with resilio ( formerly bittorrent sync, it's a encrypted distributed folder sharing technology based on bittorrent, but
it on Youtube. It would come on right after Dr. Demento. God, those were good programs. AFRTS would carry them when I was stationed in Germany 88-92. They ended most of my days activities.

Wow, talk about timing. Glad you are still here with us today.
The Shadow was great, I think oldies.com (or something someone) has
put a
whole collection on nifty bunch of CDs. However, most of them are seemingly
in public domain as well (although lower quality mp3s) but you can
check them
out here if interested -

LOL, yeah, and I never did find out how the story ended! :D

They married, moved to Skokie, Indiana and have 3 kids. The oldest,
Chet, is entering ROTC this fall at Purdue.
I'm glad to see people using Resilio that way. I'm trying to use it to do
my local sync, like being able to share files with others the same way.
