    Hey BBS dudes,
    Just wanted to invite anyone that see's this to join a group of friends
    that play Dungeons and Dragons online using Discord and Roll20, online.

    If your a DnD Pro, or have always wondered what's DnD all about, and
    why do they call it "Nerd Poker" sometimes? This group plays using DnD Adventurers League rules, you make a level 1 character and you can join a
    game, play and once finished you can take your character to another game,
    or even play at a convention. It's kind of like a Bowling League with
    more monster killing.

    Curious? Here's an invite to our Discord Server. The creator is based
    on East Coast Time, so a lot of games run during those hours, but fret
    not, DMs like myself prefer to play on Pacific Coast Times. We even have
    some DMs from the other side of the pond... Oh the invite link... here

    Very cool - I'm forwarding this to my son, as he's just started getting into D&D. Apple, tree. :)

    It's a pretty cool group, I'm running Curse of Strahd at the moment. Vampire Lord traps players in the Demiplane of Dread and they have to either defeat Strahd or find a way to escape.

    Here's another link your son should check out, it's a packet of all the additional guidelines for League Play. Specifically he'll want to read the Forgotten Realms - ALPG (Player Guide), then if he has at least a PHB he can make a character that's ready for AL play.
