Me, too - then I moved into a house without a garage. Our only storage
is a interior storage room about 30 feet by 8 feet with a sloping
ceiling. It also houses the BBS.
I tossed out most of my old crap; I probably should toss the Celeron
when it dies, too. Right now, the BBS is running on an old laptop,
which has the added benefit of me being able to take the laptop out and move it into my office to work on it when I need to. :)

I believe that a BBS is the best usage for that old laptop you
weren't using anymore :)
My only concern is the fan; I don't think laptop fans were made to run 24/7 for any length of time. THinkpad parts are cheap, if the fan does
die I can swap the BBS over to a VM and pick up a new fan for a couple

Yeah, that's exactly what happened with mine. Had to move it from my old laptop to my personal desktop (for now) although I am planning on putting it on a low-end PC and sticking it back in my basement with all my HA stuff pretty soon.

I've sent you QWK netmail about this issue, but apparently Mystic doesn't support it? Anyway, your BBS is cross-linking FidoNet SYNCDATA with
DOVE-Net SYNCDATA. When you can confirm you have this fixed and don't have *any* of the DOVE-Net conferences linked with FidoNet or other networks,
let me know and I'll restore posting privileges for your SHADOW9 QWKnet account here on Vertrauen.
Thanks,

Just noticed your signature says Flavio Bessa but your username says Nighthawk. Was that intentional?
