set up a TOR _SERVER_?

I managed to get to your Web UI because Firefox supports SOCKS5 proxies that
do DNS lookup.

But I've yet to figure out how to get telnet etc to connect to your .onion address, I've tried torsocks and socat with SOCKS4A but no luck.

Bummer. But it does work, what did you use to TOR-ify your server?

I want to get an onion address for my BBS too now :)

Telnet via TOR isnt a good dession. i prefer SSH, it is much more secure as telnet.

You can reach my ssh port in Tor under this address.

Hi again,

for beginners, the best way to reach onionland is the Torbrowser Bundle
with modified Firefox.

Myself use ADvOR for my Onion connection. It gives me more options.

And you dont need a none cache Proxy like Privoxy. It is integrated in
AdvOR.

You can find it here:

All you need is the Foxyproxy plugin for Firefox or Chrombrowser. So you
can switch seamless between both networks.

The Net itself runs and have connectivity.

I don't honestly think it's worth the effort - if they're blocking telnet
to random BBSes, they're blocking tor.

And your BBS is accessible over tor anyway - they just need to run the client and use that to connect to your BBS.

Not really sure what the benefit of having .onion address for your BBS is
aside from "Oh neat, I did that"..

Anyway, B4BBS can now be reached at qmmughu5tlmnivso.onion port 25 if you're running tor.

They'd just try to gain access to restricted areas through back doors they programmed into the USB, and other (cheap) devices.
