Also, more specifically, those on the topic of anything to do with

Sounds like an interesting net. I'd be interested in joining too. Will look further into it tonight. :)

There used to be some that were specialized like that, but I don't know if
any of them still exist or not.

Cool, it's working! :) Just took me a bit of time to get all of the message areas in, and had to work out some of the access settings, as my security model is based around the fact I'm a QWK hub for a couple of nets. I'm able to independently control what nets each QWK user can access. The clone feature in Synchronet is very useful, though having the sysop area first in the list is a bit fiddly, and the sysop and announce areas needed a bit of Boolean algebra for their access settings. :D

Check out the "Othernets" echo on Fidonet - most people running networks post advertisements and links to infopacks there.

Same here, thats why when I export a subs.txt I *TRY* to make it generic as possible. no problems though, still did'nt take too long to change with the clone feature. after hosting QWKnets for a while, I always list my Sysop areas second or dead last for this reason alone :)

Yeah, same here. I actually prefer not to have a sysops area. FOr example, VKRadio doesn't have one. I like to have all users participate in policy discussions. Today's FTN/QWK network scene is small and friendly enough for that to work well. :)

I have to sort out my bot posting for OTHERNETS. Thought I had it working, but obviously didn't get around to it.

As someone else mentioned, best place to look is in the FIDO OTHERNETS echo,
or do a google search for them. :)
