Do you have links to info pages for these mentioned networks?

Check out the "Othernets" echo on Fidonet - most people running networks post advertisements and links to infopacks there.

I remember the good old days when i had like 230+ message conferences
from OtherNets. I had Gator Net, La Naranja, CCI, LandNet, VibezNet and
a whole lot of networks from the English speaking world.

In the heyday, my group was pretty adamant about keeping the nets local. We had NIRVANAnet in the SF bay area, with 8-10 local nodes, and we tried to keep one node per area. Later, we added a Salt Lake City node and a Baltimore node, but most of the dynamic involved frantic online arguments punctuated with a quarterly meetup. The combination of local people with face-to-face interaction made for an online experience that was unique.

NIRVANAnet was my only net for a long time.

I was like the only American in the late 90s who had most of the UK based othernets.
