Just bought a 43 inch Visio so called smart TV today, Brought it home and hooked it up, the Box showed several apps so I was like OKey Dokey, the Problem with this TV is that to stream from an app like Hulu or Netflix etc... is you have the stream to the TV through your smart phone, I am perplexed by this stupid so called Smart TV, (More like a dumb terminal) so now I need to rebox it, get a refund and buy a real Smart TV. should have done the resaerch 1st I guess, Usually I spend a couple of weeks googleing before I buy.
I bought this POS at Sams Club.

I'm not sure if you're looking for a recommendation or just blowing off steam (looks more like the latter). However, I do recommend the TCL's RokuTV. It was a really nice TV we had, until our son somehow managed to knock it off the stand and cracked the LCD screen. For us, we were pretty happy wirh it and there were no additional hardware required.

I agree with you that TV you're returning is NOT a Smart TV; I don't blame you for being upset and returning it right away.

Yep, I read the manual, googled for info etc... no way I could find to add apps to the TV itself, Its ok though I just bought a Roku TV and I love it.
