  • Blocktronics new Star Wars artpack

    Hey everyone,

    On May 25, Blocktronics is going to release a new Star Wars-themed artpack, "Detention Block AA-23," to mark the 40th anniversary of the release of the first movie.

    I have a few things in there, two of which are cool animations that I built using Synchronet's javascript libraries. If you want a preview, head over to my board and check them out. (They work better viewed in SyncTerm than they do in PabloDraw, anyway)

    In Externals, look for the "Star Wars demo" section. You'll find two demos.
    One is a parallax-scrolling animation of the Millennium Falcon dodging asteroids. The other is an ANSI version of the Star Wars opening crawl.

    Hope you get a kick out of it, and don't miss the artpack. There is a ton of awesome art in it, way better than my stuff.

    Yeah, I'm not going to apologize for posting it here. This is a pretty awesome artpack that should appeal to lots of BBSers, and it has a couple pieces in it that were built specifically using Synchronet's JS. Hopefully that's something that fellow Dovenet folks will get a kick out of.
