Re: ZModem over Telnet?

I've been playing in DOSbox to recreate my old BBSing workflow from the 90s. Connecting via DOSbox's serial emulation over telnet is working great, but I can't get zmodem to work.
From what I've read online, this is because telnet gobbles certain characters that zmodem expects to not lose - SEXYZ was written to fix this.
Are there any other options for my DOSbox setup? I don't *think* SEXYZ will run in it, it seems to want a win32 environment at a minimum.
Why are you running DOSBox instead of say.. Windows x86 (32-bit), or Win9x?
Have you tried other protocols like YModem-G which does away with error correction. You can even set the block length to 8k instead of the default 1k.
I would look for a copy of DSZ or GSZ and play around with the different protocols first.
... Civil engineers do it behind schedule
