Did you try copying the entire column to another column as values and no formulas whatsoever, and export that?

Yes, I rather like it, BUT I have never tried to do anything that complicated before, either.
I'm spending most of my time with G Suite - most of the companies I've seen lately are using G Suite if they're newer, and O365 if they're established. Once you get your head around the G suite mindset, it's pretty nice.
G Suite? I have never heard of that one. Is it windows-based?

Who and why would one hate LibreOffice. I do like MS Word though but LibreOffice is pretty good actually.

I've been playing with a couple of suites lately, since my office
licenses are getting out of date and I've been using my Linux laptop
more these days.
It's hard to beat office365, and "renting" the newest version of
office, getting 1TB of cloud storage and the online apps. You could use Office365 on any platform and use the Windows/Mac apps when applicable.
For the same price you could get G suite and use web apps all the time. I'm leaning that way.
If you had multiple systems, multiple platforms and didn't want to use cloud storage I'd use OpenOffice and Resilio Sync. Resilio does secure file syncing cross-platform and doesn't use the cloud. You could back
up your docs to all of your systems and have multiple copies for safe keeping and have a free office app to work with - without any data in
the cloud.

At the cost of compatibility. For most people, the alternatives work perfectly, and it certainly doesn't hurt to check out the free options.

More and more companies I talk to are moving to G Suite - companies
that already have an investment in Microsoft are moving to Office365, while new companies starting out are using G Suite. I think in a couple
of years you'll reach parity where people have experience with both.
Personally, I like Microsoft Office more than LibreOffice; however, LibreOff
is a great office suite for when you cannot afford Microsoft Office or just have a Linux machine.

I used to use suites like OpenOffice or LibreOffice, but a few years
ago, I had to work on a document, which none of the free suites or
cloud services like Google Docs/G Suite could handle without corrupting the formatting. I ended up subscribing to Office 365, which worked perfectly

When I was primarily Windows I would use IE exclusively. I liked it -
it did what I needed - I had no problems. People called me stupid
for using it.

I don't think anyone is stupid for using a particular program.. I think many people used IE because it was there, included with Windows. But there were other web browsers before IE..

And that's an example where sometimes you need the brand name thing...
Had you been creating from scratch or just worried more about the text
and not the 'format' then ANYTHING would have worked! :-)

I work for a school system and GAFE (Google Apps for Education) is FREE with unlimited cloud storage for staff AND students. No reason NOT to
use it! :-)
ie went from being the shittiest browser to a much faster secure browser.

I think the main problem with IE, in the past, was that it had bugs and didn't conform to web standards 100%, causing web developers to do additional work making their pages work correctly with IE. And because of Microsoft's dominant position in the market, many web developers went ahead with that, knowing that many people were using IE. I think Microsoft may have purposefully made IE work slightly different from the standards to encourage people to use it - Sometimes, a web site actually only worked correctly in IE..

Eh - to each his own. I don't like Firefox, but I know people that swear
by it. I use Safari as my primary browser, but Chrome for GAFE stuff.
