First episode was about Car Wars (an old game) - next few were
Divine Right (another old game that is getting a new edition) -
next was my Comic Book fandom history. :-)
just picked up the car wars rerelease! haven't had a chance to
bust it out yet, but could not resist when i recognized it. also found the bill n' ted board game and could not put it back either.
Yeah - the 'classic' release of Car Wars is cool! They are still planning
6th edition and it will get a Kickstarter release eventually...
we've got a pretty big comic store here in town, jesse james
comics, which gets some nice alternate cover comics. dude hooked me up with a set of #1-4 for the bill n' ted comic, and i'm pretty sure it's
the only store getting the alt covers. i'd post a screenshot, but,
umm, yeah, bbs's heh. will have to check out the podcast tho!
LOL - yeah - understood. I don't usually try to collect alt art covers,
but they can be VERY cool!
As for the podcast - hope you enjoy!
i've been out of comics for a long time, but apparently the lady death artist is local here too. not sure if anyone really knows what
the plotline is or what her superpowers are, but who cares right? =)
There's an RPG motto I've adopted - if you're having fun, you're doing
it right. I think that goes for comics as well. If you're enjoying reading
it, then nothing else matters. If you are buying, it's worth what you're willing to pay, regardless of what 'the book' says it's worth. If you're selling, it's worth what you can get for it - nothing more. :-)
... It's nice out - I think I'll leave it out!
