    I taught for about 12 years. Loved the kids. Hated the bureaucracy. Public school would be great.... if they would let you teach.

    i couldnt be around huge groups of kids. i guess it depends on their age, though.

    my friend was a school teacher and she had some bad kids and she recorded them with her cellphone to show to the parents later. she got in trouble for doing that.

    when my son was little i went into a parent teacher conference. the kids were still there and there was one that was always misbehaving and the teacher told me all kinds of shit about this little puke. like he throws things and farts in class as a joke. also my kid said he took his school supplies. well, then i found out this kid's mother is a woman i went to highschool with and i knew her a little bit.

    i told her all this kid's problems and what the teacher told me about him and he got his ass beat or something and he was good from then on. i dont know if hearing it from me was the straw that broke the camel's back or if the teacher didnt really communicate well.

    i think it was more that she was embarassed because it was another parent telling her and not some teacher.
