What's the skinny on the "sparkling water" sodas that list 0
sugar, 0 calories, 0 fat, 0 sodium, 0 potassium, 0 carbs, 0
protein?
Never heard of it.
I use good old water. :)

I came upon the flavoured waters only in the last year or so. They are
an "ok" convenience for adding a little interest in plain water.
But nothing really beats pure ice-cold water from a well.

Hmm, I don't personally see the need.
But nothing really beats pure ice-cold water from a well.

I've never had water direct from a well, but I'm not sure I'd want to drink without it being filtered or sanitized in some way.

Oh, yes! I remember that there was a spring near my house growing up.
Some had pounded a pipe into the side of the hill and soon water
started coming out. It was always sweet and refreshing (granted, we mostly drank from it after playing in the hot summer days 8).
This whole "Hard Seltzer" trend is making me laugh..
..You could buy a $4 12-pack of Bubly and a
$3 hip flask of cheap vodka for the same result.
It sounds the same as some of my coworkers when I started losing
weight.
CW: You could drink diet pop instead. The aftertaste is strange, but
you can get used to it.
Me: So... instead of getting water (free), I can buy something
that's effectively dirty water that tastes bad, but I can get use to
the taste.
CW: Well, when you put it that way...
