That doesn't work for me, because the person will bug me no
end while I try to fix their stuff. Specially close family.
They literally start bugging you out until you can't work
on the issue.

But.. don't they FEED you with coffee/tea, bagels and cream
cheese while they chatter away?

When I am trying to investigate a problem, the interruptions
from them with general chit-chat and all the "why...?"
questions can be distruptive and annoying.
