Ctrl-Q????? I use /q to enter quote mode. Might want to try using a slash instead of the Ctrl key. May solve your problem.

Sorry about this , but i'm fairly new to BBS'ing and still learning
the ropes. I see that in order to quote the previous message I can
use the CTRL-Q keyboard combo, however that seems to be the same one
