    When I was in college, you needed a university ID card to get in. I know at some larger schools, like Stanford, there's one library open to all, but the
    specialty libraries (like the law library) were restricted.
    If I join the alumni association of the University of California Riverside, i can get borrower
    access chain wide. :)
