Does anyone else have problems with Windows 10 not holding good Wifi connections. Even when I have Wifi, the internet access comes and goes. Also, the computer is very, very slow in starting up compared to the very fast Win 8.1.

I haven't used wifi much with Windows 10 yet. I upgraded to Windows 10 on two of my systems - My main desktop (which was running Windows 7) and my laptop (which was running Windows 8.1). My laptop hasn't had any problems with wifi so far. Windows 10 seems to start up fairly fast for me, although on my desktop, it seems to take longer to shut down compared to Windows 7.

I have noticed a couple of odd things with Windows 10 so far. On my desktop PC, if I have to delete any files or directories from one of the Program Files directories (i.e., after un-installing a program that didn't fully remove its directory), I can't delete anything there using Windows Explorer, even after it asks for elevated privileges. I can delete files in Program Files using the command line (as administrator) though. Windows 10 on my laptop doesn't have that issue, it's only happening on my desktop PC. Another odd thing I've noticed is that Windows 10 sometimes has trouble connecting to my Linux file share, even though I had no problem accessing it from Windows 7, and even my Windows XP machine (which runs my BBS) is able to connect to my Linux share without any issues. In Windows 10, I have to open Windows Explorer and expand the "Network" category on the left and wait several moments for it to scan my network - It will eventually show my Linux system, and then I'll be able to browse the files being shared on it.

Nope. All my window 10 computers work fine and no trouble with the wifi on the laptops.

Even got my Mystic bbs (pb.darktech.org:24) on window 10 and so far all the doors work.

I hav't tried Win 10 on my laptop, I'm waiting to sort out my desktop
    issues.
My desktop seemed to boot slowly.

My desktop had weird permissions issues; apps couldn't write to
the profile folders like Pictures, Videos and Music. The start menu
and Windows 10 apps wouldn't open.

I created a new user, copied my data over and everything's working
fine. Boot up time is equivalent to Windows 7.

Does anyone else have Windows 10 experiences they'd like to share?

Well I'll admit that I've got no experience with Windows 10, nor Windows 8, even. My VM runs a version of Windows 7, and I'm planning on staying with that. I'm guessing it's running a little bit slow because of the fact that it's so busy pumping a video and audio feed, along with mirroring your desktop to the NSA.
    Just my guess. ;)
