This is the wrong message area for Synchronet support questions. See
http://wiki.synchro.net/howto:support for details.
I found the main.cfg file and the xtrn.file it was located in the ctrl directory but when I update scfg and then run ./sbbs
it gives me this error
Synchronet Console for Linux Version 3.17a Copyright 2015 Rob Swindell
!SBBSCTRL environment variable not set, using default value: /sbbs/ctrl
Reading /sbbs/ctrl/sbbs.ini
Loading configuration files from /sbbs/ctrl
!ERROR Loading Configuration Files: 2 (No such file or directory) opening /sbbs/ctrl/main.cnf
Type 'locate main.cnf' at a command prompt and paste the output in one the Synchronet support message areas.
