    Any PLC guys out there? I have an AB question:
    Is there currently any way to log data from an AB SLC without using a SCADA package? Other than using RSLinx and excel?

    It's been too many years back that I care to remember, but that's how I did it when I put together a test bench which recorded Amps, Voltage, kW, Temperatures, Pressure and Flow. Then I'd print out an Excel spreadsheet. I'll ask a friend of mine who works exclusively with AB.

    Thanks. I do all sorts of programming (PC, microprocessor, etc). I dove into PLC stuff a few years ago and I admit that even when I think I have it all down I always find out that theres something I dont know.
