    While I'm still a Giants fan (I was born and somewhat raised in the Bay Area), I'm also a Milwaukee Brewers fan (what? lol..). Anyhow, I was kind of rooting for the Royals since their head coach (Ned Yost - who used to be the Brewers head coach) got that team to the World Series, but couldn't do a damn thing with our team.. It would have just put icing on the cake that our GM is a dumbass, and refuses to spend money on players that might get us at LEAST to the playoffs. :)

    Other than that. I'm also glad the Giants won.

    I'm a NorCal native, but I was kindda hoping KC would win, we already had 2 in the last 5 years, no need to be greedy.

    I always root for the underdog (unless it's Notre Dame), I was flip flopping through the whole series.

    I'm a NorCal native, but I was kindda hoping KC would win, we already
    had 2 in the last 5 years, no need to be greedy.

    I've followed them since NY... so I have much time invested. Over the past 60 years, they've only won it 4 times so I don't think it's being greedy.

    I was hoping for a Cardinals-Royals rematch of the 1985 series. Oh well.
