    Why, oh, WHY did the raiders go for it on 4th and 6 with 2 minutes left to
    go when they were down by a field goal AND a touchdown?

    Get Janikowski in to kick a field goal, get the 3 points, then try like hell to force a turnover.

    Yep. The BBS and I lived in Oakland for over 10 years. I used to make a pilgrimage to the box office on opening day for tickets and get seats for the home games against the Broncos and the Seahawks without fail.

    My favorite seats were a section at turf level on the sidelines nearest the Black Hole. Close enough to see the craziness but out of range of thrown items.

    I don't know if it's just me or not but i use to love watching the network tv Raiders games when the field is still dirt covered from the Oakland Athletics transformation. The likes of Madden, Stabler, Casper, Long, Matuszak,
    Alzado and others,...great memories of a bygone era.
