    So just to be clear, the Catholic church won't pay for the pill, but they will pay for forced castration of boys who have been raped by Catholic priests. Any questions?

    Yes. As this only concerns their employees -- if they are good Catholics, then they should not be using these benefits, right? So, what's the issue?


    Are we admitting that we know that the majority of Catholics *ignore* the church's teachings on these matters?

    Off the record, the catholic church where I grew up at gave money out to just about anyone! Reason being for a couple of reasons... 1> They didn't report as much money to the diacese as they actually collected because they'd prefer local people get help as compared to people in other countries. 2> Had they reported how much money they actually collected, they'd have to pay a lot in taxes, so they just sorta stashed a bit of it in secret locations and handed it out as needed.... ;-) As to be expected....
