    Hi DM,

    I've said it before, but as it is Thanksgiving, I'd like to say thank you for your continued work on Synchronet and related tools & software - including SyncTerm. One unique feature of SyncTerm I've found useful is its baud rate simulation. I've used that to do some optimizing of screen updates with SlyEdit and a couple of my other Synchronet mods.

    Cool. You're very welcome. And thank *you* for your contributions (e.g. SlyEdit) which are used and appreciated by many.

    As for SyncTERM, that's mostly Deuce's baby and specifically the baud rate emulation. Glad you find it useful.

    Yeah. I think thanks is due to Digital Man and Deuce. I think without Synchronet, this hobby really would be dead.

    I'll have to second that statement. The time I took to look into configuring and modifying Synchronet really brought back and kept my interest in this hobby
    over the last decade.

    Thirded. Having DOVEnet working (almost) out of the box helps jump start new sysops and I think has done a lot to get new or returning sysops online and posting.

    I agree, that definitely helps. I joined Dove-Net immediately after I started my current BBS with Synchronet, and I've enjoyed reading & posting on Dove-Net ever since then.
