So here's the scenario...
I'm running Synchronet BBS for Linux Version 3.16a
I'm having an issue with running *telgate to my twgs.hdcbbs.com server.
Here's whats happening to me.
Login via RLogin to the bbs from Syncterm. I connect, and I go to my external section, and choose my HDC TWGS Public Server and attempt to telgate to it.
It starts the telnet to twgs.hdcbbs.com on the standard port 23. I can see on the server the node is connecting, but from the BBS, i see the number
"2" and next to it a division sign, only it looks like a minus sign with a dot on top and the bottom of the minus sign.. Pauses for like 2 - 3
seconds, then sends me back to the bbs.
Now if i telnet into the bbs from HDC's linux server, directly to twgs.hdcbbs.com, it works with no issues.. So i'm wondering if there is
some sort of issue with mixing the protocols some how.. like rlogin to telnet or something.. Not sure but i can make it do that each time.
Bare in mind, i also have a BBS only TWGS server that you can only get to from the bbs, so it does a rlogin into that TWGS server, and that
connection is working with no issues.
Any ideas?
