  • Editing simple.src - adding hotkeys?

    I edited my simple.src menu quite a bit last night - I'm trying to figure out how to make it so the user doesn't have to hit enter after a command is typed. What's teh relevant code, say in default.src, that does this? The only difference I saw right away was that simple uses cmdstr and default uses cmdkey - but that didn't make a difference so I figured I was missing something.

    A nudge in the right direction would help. :)

    pretty sure your problem is that the user doesnt have hotkeys enabled in their setup.


    you can put this up at the top to force it on for everyone (if you have past users that do not have hotkeys turned on by default)

    exec/simple.src uses "getstrupr" to request a string from the user. See http://synchro.net/docs/baja.html for details.
