The help for %RESCAN is as follows
%RESCAN Request a rescan of newly added areas
That seems to mean that only newly added areas would be rescanned.
However, this is what I got instead. A rescan of all echos, instead of
just the new one

I had never really looked at the rescan option, but thought that you would do a rescan echo by echo. With what it says in the help, it should only
be any newly added area. This rescan was apparently requested in the same message that the the echo was areafixed.
Probably
+ Echo

SBBSecho "rescan" is a rescan of all areas (not just newly added), so I suspect
the help text is just wrong.

Joe,
My downlinks are having the exact same issues as well. It's giving ALL the echos... it would be great if it would work as most do by sending only the requested echo like
%RESCAN SYNCHRONET
Would only send synchronet echo... and to make matters worse... it's creating packets taht do not import sequentially by date either... I've recreated this with Mystic and fastecho as well.
