I have been poking around and I want to know how to get rid of, or
prevent, the bullitins menu.... the one during the logon process... and
what is the name of the asc file that says synchronet during the logon
    process as well.

    Thanx

Just taking a stab at it here.... but I do know the bulletins are controlled by the bullseye.bin. You could edit the bullseye.src and then convert it to the .bin using baja.exe or possibly leave the bullseye.cfg blank.

The file I think you're talking about that says Synchronet is SBBS.MSG located in the ..sbbs/text

I thought there was something to toggle in the setup. I'll start
    looking at the bullseye files.

just making the logon process to my game server a little more tighter...

    Thanx

The toggles that I saw were for system info, which I thought was your system stats and the modules under Advanced.

In SCFG, the configuration for an external program can specify whether to run that program during the login event. I believe that's how Bullseye is set up by default - so you can check that, as that's probably what you want to
    change.

I don't remember off the top of my head if that's it though (I don't have access to my BBS machine at the moment). It could also be run from one of the JavaScript scripts (either logon.js or login.js).

it's probably in your external section and rigged to run at login

I have looked in that place, one of the first places I checked. I have
also looked at the login/logon scripts.

I just didn't want to hurt my brain tryuing to figure this out. I'll
have to do more when I get home.

Check SCFG->External Programs->Online Programs->Main->Bullseye! Bulletins. Change the "Execute on Event" to "No" or just delete it (from the configuration) altogether.

just making the logon process to my game server a little more tighter...

Can't you just use rlogin to connect right to the game you want to startup?

I get it now... I use wildcat/WINS to access my game server. I connect
to SBBS via port 23 on a vertual machine.

Works good and I want to make the server public to any other sysop who
    wants to use it
