    I have a quick question...

    in the mail server window I have a message trying to get out and it cannot. There is an SMTP Error 1 duplicate message... 452 ERROR 1... bla bla bla...

    Where is the directory this is heald so that I may delete the file/message and move on??

    you need to check into who is sending that email and to where.

    It's trying to go to one of my external email addresses...

    because of the nature of the error msg.
    just limit the amount of tries in scfg and it will stop sending.
    you can also logon to your bbs and view all mail and delete it there.

    you really should look into what is going on first.
    your system could be sending out a lot of spam, or you are being 'graylisted' because you are not sending through you isp's servers.

    The BBS was trying to forward a message to me... I found out how to delete it...

    Duplicate message would be an *import* error, not an export ("get out") error.

    Where is the directory this is heald so that I may delete the file/message and move on??

    All mail is stored in the mail message base (data/mail.*). If you delete those files, you will delete all the email/netmail in your BBS.

    I was able to get it with the ;mail command... deleted the offending message. It was easy enough to fix...
