From Underminer@VERT to All on Mon Mar 30 00:12:50 2015
    Hello again, all.
I'm wondering if anybody knows a way (or can point me to documentation on) to automatically move messages to another sub at a given age instead of just purging them? (I'd like to create archival areas for a couple subs).

Alternatively, is there a way to set messages older than (join date-x) as read for new members?

    Thanks a bunch

That's not a built-in feature, but you (or someone) could write a JavaScript module that could do that (and could be executed as a timed event in sbbs, or via jsexec).

No, but that's another good idea fora JS module.

long ago for my new users i have a prompt that comes up after signup that asks them if they want to update their msg pointers to today's date.
i had too many people necroposting.
