• Time Until Event Warning (Forced Logoff)

From Skatin@VERT to All on Sat Apr 4 22:04:37 2015
    Hello,

Is it possible to reduce the amount of time between the event warning message at logon and the actual event? So that perhaps instead of the warning showing up many hours before an event, it would only warn at one hour before the event?

"Your time has been reduced due to an upcoming event on XXXXXXXX 5:00 am"

    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Skatin

The logic to display that warning is during the logon process. If you want to eliminate the message, just setting the ReducedTime line in your ctrl/text.dat to a blank string ("") would achieve that.

There are other warnings that are displayed closer to the time that the user will actually be disconnected due to running out of time (e.g. due to a timed event), e.g. OnlyXminutesLeft.

That was easy! I felt the warning message might spook non-experienced users into using less time on the board. These days its tough to pry people away from Facebook, so any additional time they spend on a board is an achievement!

Thank you for your time and assistance Digital Man!
