hey what do you guys think of this?

i bought a car today second hand for 1500 bucks, it doesnt leak oil, no smoking exhaust, no rust on body and no knocking or ticking in engine.
its a 2004 cavalier
my insurance is 885 per year, is this a good deal you think? or did i get ripped hehe.. i am so scared atm to even turn it on i dont wanna break anything lol!

yep hehe i hear ya been on feet for last 2 years and when i got my payment from the government i decided to bite the bullet and buy a car, it might be a big chunk of change, but, in the longrun it will be a huge benefit i think.

you should have taken it to a mechanic and have them jack it into the computer, then give it a quick look.

your insurance is a bit high. mine is 55/month with geico

My new 2015 truck is 568 for six months. Yours for six months is 442.25
That is full coverage only 500.00 deductible. So difference in price is 126.00 betweem yours and mine. I think your insurance is high.

yes i had it inspected the only things i had to do was change the tranny fluid, flush the power steering fluid, switch the air filter and get a gas cap, not bad i think
as for my insurance i am sure it could be lower but i have 5 tickets and 3 DUI so i am counting my lucky stars

That sounds about right to me. $1,500 for an 11 year old car with no rust or leaks or noise. I'd buy it if I needed a car..
