I'm not sure if this is in the works, or requested before, but i think
it would be nice to have an option to recieve email notifications about message replies to your name directly.
i think receiving constant notifications about threads would be TOO MUCH traffic; but if a user was notified if there was a reply directly to them in msg bases it would be helpful.

Seconded - I've found a couple of good blocklist generators, and CIDR seems the best option for pre-generating the file.

Done and in CVS. Give it a try.
so where do we put in feature requests on the git
and can you please
plut it on the wiki and the website? thanks
also i think the password emailer should not ask for the user's email address because that fucks me up because i use email aliases and i cant remember them.
Then how would you know where to check/read that email with the
password? The idea of user authentication is to get as much info from
password? The idea of user authentication is to get as much info from
the user as possible without (or before) giving the user any personally-identifying info (like an email address).

can't it just shoot off an email if the users requests a password?
that's what my pw emailer does. it's not hurting anything. it's not resetting
a pw. it doesnt have to SHOW the email address to the requester. it can just send it and disconnect.
It could. It's a script, so I suppose the sysop easily has that
option. I could make it a modopts setting, but it would default
to off (requiring the user enter their email address, confirming
their identity) - so probably not helping you with whatever password
it is you're trying to recover.
