I have tried to upload a file dozens of times and it doesn't work. Why?

Is there any aditional configuration step I am missing?

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? What exactly is going wrong? And are there any error messages in your Synchronet logs?

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? What exactly is going wrong? And are there any error messages in your Synchronet logs?

First, it does not upload the file, but after the 10th attempt or so it seems to upload and gives me an error message indicating the the zip file is corrupt. I tested the zip file and it is not corrupt at all.

Maybe you try to upload a file and see for yourself. I will really appreciate it.

What file transfer protocol are you using (e.g. ZMODEM)?

Are you able to upload files to other BBSes (not your own)?

I went to his BBS earlier, I uploaded a file with no problem at all.
Try using ZMODEM that might work better.

Might be, are you uploading via ssh or telnet?

That shouldn't make a difference. The protocols & things should work the same way regardless of whether you're on your local intranet or the internet.

Tera Term is a good one, also Syncterm or Netterm.
Net term is not free, but it gives you 60 day trial.

NetRunner v2 Beta 11. I use it with Mystic, Daydream, and Synchronet regularly to exchange files. There are no open Zmodem bug reports for NetRunner and its used by a ton of people. SEXYZ on the Synchronet side is rock solid.

What is happening when you try? Are you queuing the files first?

i use mtelnet for windows, i tollerate syncterm for linux.

Thank you Mro. It seems that I was using the wrong Telnet application. It was still a beta version of NETrunner. I am waiting now for the final release.

As you can see, I am the first to report a bug on netrunner beta 2.
I am now using SyncTerm and both uploads and downloads work fine. Tried again with NetRunner and it doesn't work.

As you can see, I am the first to report a bug on netrunner beta 2.
I am now using SyncTerm and both uploads and downloads work fine. Tried again with NetRunner and it doesn't work.

Thats the same version I use and it works great for uploads, downloads, batch Uploads etc.. Maybe a corrupt file or incompatability with some of you hardware.
