  • Sports Stats update

    Want to display NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB scores and standings on your BBS website? Now you can!

    I just posted Sports Stats v0.7 onto GitHub: https://github.com/Kirkman/Sports-Stats

    The web component requires the use of echicken's v4 web interface: https://github.com/echicken/synchronet-web-v4

    If you want to get an idea how this looks, you can see it on my BBS site: http://guardian.synchro.net/?page=004_sportsstats.xjs

    I also made a number of little fixes for the ANSI door version, so it's probably worth upgrading if you already had Sports Stats installed.

    Please let me know if you notice bugs or problems. I'm watching the NFL side of things now that we're into the playoffs when things can get wonky.

    Thats great.. Doesn't appear to work on my bbs. The webpage all the selections just goto /false

    I think I may have found the mistake.

    On line 137 of 004_sportsstats.xjs, try changing "localhost" to "guardian.synchro.net".

    Let me know if that fixes it. If it does, I'll update GitHub.

    Josh, this is fantastic! Thank you. Just installed it for the ANSI bbs and
    it works great.

    I noticed there is no data being displayed yet for "Next Weeks Games" in the NFL portion. When will that data start to be pulled in or will it ?

    "Next week's games" will be problematic throughout the playoffs because the matchups and times won't be decided until this week's games are played.

    Playoffs are really tricky in this script, and they are worse for the NFL. I came up with some things during last year's playoffs that are going to get a tryout this year. Hopefully it goes more smoothly, but we'll see.
