    No, the scripts (e.g. *.src and *.js) from the "exec" directory are not included in sbbs_dev.zip.

    The run-time files, including all scripts/modules for the exec and exec/load directories are in CVS as well as archived daily into sbbs_run.zip (and .tgz).

    Rob,

    You need to update your exec and exec/load directories too.

    Well, I screwed something up big time when I did...because in
    unzipping the SBBS_DEV.ZIP and SBBS_RUN.ZIP, I lost all the cfg files, directories, etc. So, I restored from a backup late last year (Dec. 30,
    2017), and have decided to wait until the full release of SBBS 3.17,

    If this is syncWXremix, the JSON problems are probably caused by the Weather Underground API spitting out something unexpected. This has been happening to a few people lately. It looks like Ken added in some error handling to deal with this a couple of days ago, so you may want to update.

    To the best of my knowledge, syncwx does not use the JSON-DB server; any problems you're having with the two are unrelated.

    I keep getting the following error, what is the best way to fix it.

    Sun Sep 01 2019 10:20 am valhalla.synchro.net
    Node 0 !ERROR 2 (No such file or directory) (WinError 183) in getmsg.cpp line 438 (sbbs_t::getlastmsg) opening "c:\SBBS\data\subs\dove-deb" access=-205 info=smb_islocked c:\SBBS\data\subs\dove-deb.lock exists

    That sounds like something trying to do something with a sub-board or message in a sub-board when something else already has it open and locked. It would be good to know what you were doing when that error was generated. And when that happens, try to see if anything else has that same sub-board or message open.

    we had a power loss the other day during an event, I had to fix a lot of issues, but I never saw this error before. Turns out there was a lock file for that message base, and deleting that, cleared up the issue. Thanks for the reply.

    The entire error message would be helpful. Also, errors are logged to separate file (data/error.log) - use the View->Error Log menu option.
