    should be how to block attackers; i dont want to block hackers. they are usually nice people.

    also hacking implies skill. these guys are just running a script they downloaded.

    I think most BBS sysops have come up with interesting and useful hacks, like my ability to log out and log into my old RA BBS, or even reboot the PC remotely without hanging up. With local calls being 25c a pop (untimed though), such hacks were real money savers. :)

    The term is "script kiddies" :D
