  • Oneliners

    I installed your onliner script and it works but I get an error.
    "oneliner service error: [admin] Password incorrect"
    I went through the json service.ini and all the files in the oneliners folder but could not figure this out.
    any idea's on how I can fix this?

    Based on the above, I suspect that you're talking about my oneliners script.

    I went through the json service.ini and all the files in the oneliners folder but could not figure this out.

    You clearly trailed off while reading the 'Support' section of 'readme.txt'.

    any idea's on how I can fix this?

    I'm actually not sure why you would be getting that error. It will have something to do with the password for user #1, but I don't know what the issue is. There's a change I've been meaning to make to a few scripts that should get around this problem, though. I'll try to get to it soon.

    If you're intent on hosting your own oneliners database, you'll just have to wait. In the meantime, if you want to connect to my shared database, per the docs, that should work. (And if you choose to go that way, you can disable this module in your 'json_service.ini'.)

    Sorry, I sent the message off then went to work then relized I messaged the wrong Canadian guy.
    I did set the oneliner to your BBS and it works fine I just get that error for some reason.

    That error message is being generated by the onliners JSON DB module that you're running on your BBS. If you're connecting to my database, then you don't need to host one of your own. Just delete or comment out the [oneliners] section from your 'ctrl/json-service.ini', restart services (or your BBS), and that should take care of it.

    I'm behind in my messages, so apologies if this was covered. Is your oneliner server still running? Mine started erroring out when posting and now I was getting a timeout on the script. When I try telnetting to bbs.electronicchicken on 10888 I get a timeout too.
