I was wondering why I didn't get a notice this time that it was time to Verify my entry on the BBS List. Has something changed. Does this notificating come in on any special port number. This is the first time I didn't get a message to Verify, and my system was deleted. Just trying to figure out what happened so it doesn't happen again. Thanks.

You created the entry on your own BBS? If yes, then you should have received a short message (telegram) every day upon logon to the terminal server for several days before the entry expired and was deleted. But without more details, I can only guess.

Yes, as I've always have, and for years, I've gotton a reminder to verify the entry. But I havn't seen a reminder for over a month, so I decided to check, and both my entrys have been deleted. I recently removed ports 17 & 18 from my open ports (port forwarding in my router) since I wasn't using them to open some other ports I needed for my second bbs. I was wondering do either of those ports come into play in the notification process of the bbs list. I was hoping you could shed some light why it didn't notify me this time, as I've done nothing different but eliminate ports 17 & 18. Thanks

No, the SBL door doesn't perform any TCP/IP communications. The notifications are just files (so called "short messages") stored in your data/msgs directory.
