• Outbound Mail Problems

From IronMan@VERT to All on Sat Sep 3 20:30:33 2016
Anytime I try to send email from Synchronet BBS I get the following error:

1696 INVALID RESPONSE - 501 Bad sender address syntax

Apparently the receiving server does not like something about the format of
the emails sent from Sync BBS. Can anyone give me any ideas on what may be wrong here?

    Thank you.

Enable more log output (enable "Log Transmissions" and set the Log Level to "Debug"), reproduce the problem and send more of the session transactions here, including the "MAIL FROM:" command.

Are you relaying through a mail server? Which one? Have you tried using direct delivery instead?
