• TLS on Webserver

From Coz@VERT to All on Wed Oct 5 09:39:02 2016
Can anyone offer some more detail on getting Synch's web server running with TLS? I'm running a daily build of 3.17 (Win32) so I believe support is
there. I also have the TLS option specified in services.ini. Do I also need ALLOW_TLS in the [web] section too?

After that, more or less just wondering how to generate a private key (using the certificate plugin for mmc? Is there another better way?), signing request, and then where to put the signed certificate and how to point the webserver at it and the private key.

    Thanks,
    Coz

Yes, you'll need the ALLOW_TLS option set. The services.ini doesn't have anything to do, directly, with the web server.

I think it automatically creates the key. Sorry, but I don't know much more than that about it.
