Has something changed since the last update. I can no longer relay mail through cvs. This is the error code I'm getting. I know there were a lot of changes to the sbbs.ini, and I thought I copied the data that was needed to the new file correctly, but I may have missed something. Thanks In Advance.

Is it possible that your ISP is preventing outbound connections on port 25? I'm not having any trouble connecting to cvs.synchro.net on that port.
You may want to revise your setup in accordance with this:

Oh, BTW, I'm thinging about going to ecweb, what is the newest version, and where is the bset place to snag a copy. Also, if I use ecweb, do I
have to use ecreader on the bbs. Thanks

Maybe wait a few days, I'm fixing up a file-download bug right now, so you'd want to update soon anyhow.

No, the two are unrelated. Actually I don't recommend using ecreader in general.

Is that where you click the file and the browser just displays a new pages with {} on it?
I have files like that and also long file name issues: region1-10.zip shows up as region1-.10.
My last update was in September I think.
Don't update your web UI at this time unless your build of Synchronet is fairly new (like from within the past month or so). I'll be updating things to make it more 3.16c-friendly in the near future.

I don't think there's much I can do about this without getting a bit hacky. I
may take a peek and see if there's a reasonable solution.

Addfiles issue not supporting long filenames. (forgot about that)
Is there a way to link that information here: http://wiki.synchro.net/faq:files
to the actual addfiles page:

The BBS Configure program for Mail(Server) does not have an entry for the mail server one wants to use. The wiki says it should. So how can I set the bbs up to use gmail or another mail server...or point me to the correct documentation. thanks
