via telegram. I saw it use the API is there any of them to check and
There are various APIs in play here. The "Synchronet Javascript Object Model" is the API being used on the server side. The "web/root/api/" directory provides a web API to be used client (browser) side; it turns around and talks to the aforementioned server-side API. Both of these APIs are just ways of hooking into Synchronet's internal functions.
show the weather? There is one for the ircbot but unfortunately it show
me only null values.
The weather info that the IRC bot displays comes from an external web
API (Weather Underground, IIRC) and not from the BBS itself. You may
be getting empty responses or whatever if you haven't gone to their
site to sign up for an API key (and configured that bot plugin to use
it). Not sure, I haven't looked at that stuff in a while.
Are you hoping to show the weather at *your* location to any user who visits your site? Or were you wanting to display the weather at the visitor's location? In either case I suspect various weather sites provide embed code for this sort of thing; should be easy to turn that into a sidebar module.
Use syncWXremix. Works awesome for displaying a callers local weather. Use as a regular door or logon screen :-)echicken wrote to Tony <=-
