• Correct usage of DELFILES

    From Mindless Automaton@VERT/ELDRITCH to DOVE-Net.Synchronet_Discussion on Thu Dec 15 23:55:45 2016
I have files that are still listing that do not actually exist on the harddrive anymore.

    If I do:

    DELFILES * /OFF

    I get:

Directory code 'ACTIVEUSESERVICE.JS' not found. (which is the 1st file
in /sbbs/exec where I am running DELFILES from)

The wiki does not specify that I need to be in a specific directory when running the command. http://wiki.synchro.net/util:delfiles

My thought would be to expect it to work similar to ADDFILES, which
didn't care what folder I run from (ADDFILES - -s)

    Thanks!

If you're in a *nix shell (e.g. bash), the '*' will expand to all the files in your current working directory. Not what you want. So use the '-all' argument instead (e.g. "delfiles -all -off") or encluse the '*' in quotes.
