this is rather unnerving... is it because of the shutdown like we see with JSON? this is after 10 days running but there's only 7 days of archived logs...
that limit has been increased to 4 weeks, now...

You got a mail server on the BBS you are using.
pardon? SBBS comes with its own mail server... it is just a matter of configuring it in the ini files and setting the options in scfg properly ;)
in this case, it basically replaces the one that that linux box would be running... since it is a BBS box, no other mail server is really needed... i have not (yet) tested to see if it accepts emails from cron jobs but i would hope that it does... sure, it means having to log into the BBS to get those reports instead of using a regular mail client like pine or thunderbird but what the hell, hunh? :lol:
i don't recall if it also provides POP3 access to the private mail but if it does, that's tre sweet... i don't care about IMAP but that might also be cool if one needs or desires it...
